BestEver
Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 11, 2026
BestEver is a private memory bank: you capture the best moments of your life and share them only with the people you choose. This policy explains what we collect and how it is used.
What we collect
- Account: your email address (for sign-in codes) and the display name you choose.
- Memories: the photos, titles, notes, tags, and dates you save. Voice input is transcribed on your device; audio recordings are never stored or uploaded - only the text.
- People you tag: if you tag a friend by email, we store that email to share the memory with them and, if they are not yet a member, to send them one invitation email.
How it is used
- Your memories are private by default. They are visible only to you and to people you explicitly tag on a specific memory.
- If you mark a "best ever" as public, its photo, title, tag, and your display name (never your email, notes, or location) may be shown to other BestEver users.
- Photos are stripped of embedded metadata (including GPS) before upload.
- We do not sell your data, show ads, or share your information with data brokers.
Where it lives
Data is stored with Supabase (database and file storage) with row-level security enforcing the sharing rules above. Invitation and sign-in emails are delivered via Resend.
Your controls
- Delete any memory at any time; deletion removes it for everyone it was shared with.
- Remove a shared memory from your own bank without affecting others.
- Make any public best ever private again with one tap.
- To delete your account and all associated data, email us at the address below.
